The primary benefit of using TVPs is that you can write simpler code than in older versions of SQL Server because you don t have to deal with the lack of container objects supported in T-SQL. As a result you have more flexibility in working with sets of data as well as better performance because you can take advantage of T-SQL s setbased operations.
